Hybrid Working

Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:

The role involves supporting a Live Confidence Testing team on the VAM (Virtual Accounts Management) programme, accountable for validation & sign-off of all Live Confidence testing including the analysis, design and execution of Live Confidence Testing (LCT) scripts for major programme releases as well as smaller deliverables.

What will you be doing?

Test Analysis & Design

• The review of source documentation (e.g., Business Functional Requirements, Technical Design & testing collateral) and provision of review comments as appropriate.
• The analysis & decomposition of Business Functional Requirements and/or solution design in order to:

o Refine & shape the requirements.
o Define & shape the overall Live Confidence Testing scope.
o Identify/highlight any discrepancies or process gaps in requirements and/or design.
Test Execution

• To execute Live Confidence test scenarios/scripts in accordance with the LCT plan and execution schedule.
• To ensure that Live Confidence test results are accurately captured and shared with programme stakeholders.

Defect Management

• To attend defect triage calls (where appropriate) to provide additional information to aid the resolution of defects/production incidents.
• To track defects through to resolution and closure carrying out associated re-tests and regression tests as appropriate.

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience of Programme and/or Project Change delivery.
• Experience of testing (e.g., System, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing and/or Live Confidence Testing).
• Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Graduate
• Online Banking Channels experience desirable but not essential.
• BCS/ISEB/ISTQB Foundation desirable but not essential.

 Experience working with third party vendors to aid in the delivery of solutions desirable but not essential.
