Job Role: Senior Manager / AVP – Legal (M4/M5 Grade depending on experience)

Job Description:

Entire gamut of legal aspect related to real estate lending business involving following:

• Well versed with relevant laws pertaining to real estate development including RERA and real estate lending transactions;

• Independently handling of real estate due diligence / title search of various projects/ lands and ability to identify legal risk;

• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents such as loan documents, security documents including mortgage related drafts, escrow agreement and other relevant documents pertaining to real estate financing;

• Co-ordination and follow up with external advocates / legal counsel for review and closure of title search reports;

• Well versed with creation of security interest by way of mortgages and perfection of securities;

• Preparation and Verification of list or tracker for title deeds with respect to secured properties;

• Preparation of internal reports related to title search and tracker at regular intervals for various transactions;

• Recovery and litigation experience, following up with internal and external team / consultants, will be preferred.

Required Qualification and Experience –

• Law degree from reputed institution

• Candidates having at least 5 – 6 years post qualification experience preferably in the financial services or real estate business

• Having good communication and drafting skills with ready to learn approach

• Understanding the business requirement and addressing the same in accordance with existing legal framework
