DevOps System Administrator

About The RoleWe are looking for a skilled DevOps System Administrator to manage and optimise our server and desktop infrastructure. In this dynamic role, youll be part of a small, experienced team and work with a range of technologies to ensure our systems run smoothly and securely.

This is a hybrid position starting with two days in the office and three days working from home. Key Responsibilities:Administer and maintain Linux and Windows server environments (including Active Directory and O365)Manage and troubleshoot databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL ServerWork with virtualisation technologies (Proxmox)Oversee cloud server infrastructure on Google Cloud PlatformEnsure effective desktop management for both Windows and Linux systems

Support networking tasks to ensure seamless connectivity

Automate processes using tools like Terraform, Chef, and SaltWhat You Bring to the Role:Strong technical skills in system administration and problem-solvingA sharp eye for detail and commitment to thorough documentation

Passion for building and maintaining robust, reliable infrastructure

Solid understanding of disaster recovery principles and strategies

Ability to secure public-facing systems against malicious threats
