• Review and organize raw footage.
• Edit, trim, sequence clips, and assemble rough & final cuts.
• Add transitions, titles, graphics, VFX, sound effects, color correction, audio mixing, and music.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, marketing/content teams to align with creative vision.
• Adapt video formats and sizes for social media, web, or broadcast platforms.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and ensure final output meets brand and technicalstandards.
• Maintain and organize project files and media assets.
• Stay updated on editing trends, software updates, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience editing video content (portfolio or reel required).
• Proficiency in NLE software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve,Avid Media Composer, etc.
• Strong storytelling ability—understanding pacing, timing, narrative continuity.
• Technical knowledge of codecs, formats, resolution, aspect ratios.
• Attention to detail with an eye for visual composition and transitions.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in film production, media, cinematography, or related field.
• Experience with motion graphics, VFX, or sound design via

After Effects or similar tools.

• Familiarity with high-resolution workflows, file encoding standards, and version control systems.
• Project-management capabilities, especially in fast-paced environments.
