Staff Threat Research Engineer - GSK - BLR

We are seeking a skilled security researcher to design new security-focused integrations and develop advanced content for a next-generation Security Posture Management (SPM) platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop security and compliance content that helps enterprises make accurate configuration and risk decisions.
  • Analyze SaaS application architectures, APIs, and data models to build security graphs for the SPM platform.
  • Research and address security gaps in SaaS environments, including compliance, visibility, and remediation strategies.
  • Explore new threat vectors and provide domain expertise across engineering, research, product, and customer success teams.
  • Publish security insights through articles, blogs, or conference presentations.
  • Mentor and guide a team of researchers in building high-quality security detections.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in the security domain (CSPM, DSPM, ASPM, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of information security, preferably with SaaS-specific expertise.
  • Hands-on experience in security analysis, SaaS deployment hardening, or security content development.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of public cloud security and related solutions.
  • Experience working with databases (SQL) and big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, BigQuery).
  • Background in API-based automation or novel product development is highly desirable.
