Planning Manager – EPC Civil Building Construction Location: Visakhapatnam Experience: 10–20 Years Industry: EPC – Civil Building Construction Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager with strong expertise in EPC civil building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Develop, monitor, and update the Master Project Schedule using tools such as Primavera (P6) or MS Project. Prepare baseline schedules , resource plans, procurement schedules, and cash flow projections. Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress; prepare progress reports and variance analysis. Coordinate with site teams, project managers, procurement, engineering, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to timelines. Identify schedule risks, delays, and bottlenecks; propose mitigation plans proactively. Oversee planning and forecasting for manpower, materials, machinery, and subcontracted works. Ensure compliance with project timelines, cost parameters, and contractual requirements. Support the management team with MIS reports, dashboards, and planning insights for decision-making. Participate in client meetings, planning reviews, and progress discussions. Assist in tender planning, project budgeting, and preparation of technical proposals when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering ; Master’s in Project Management is an added advantage. 10–20 years of experience in EPC Civil Building Construction Projects. Strong expertise in Primavera P6 / MS Project for scheduling and planning. Good understanding of civil engineering construction methods, resource planning, and cost control. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to lead the planning function independently and manage multiple project interfaces.
