Role Overview

We are looking for a Legal Associate to support our growing commercial and client-facing legal requirements. The role is focused on contract execution, commercial drafting, and coordination, while also involving direct interaction with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth contracting and closure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys hands-on contracting work, exposure to fintech/financial services, and working closely with business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and execute commercial agreements including client contracts, NDAs, service agreements, vendor agreements, and partnership documents
• Coordinate with external law firms on contract templates, updates, and specialized legal inputs
• Act as a point of contact for clients on contractual queries; join client calls when required to explain terms and facilitate closure
• Support contract negotiations in collaboration with internal business, sales, and product teams
• Ensure contracts are aligned with regulatory requirements applicable to Account Aggregators and financial services
• Maintain contract documentation, trackers, and version control
• Assist with internal compliance processes, audits, and documentation support as required

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2–6 years of experience in contract drafting and commercial legal work
• Prior exposure to fintech, BFSI, technology, SaaS, or regulated environments is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of contract structures, commercial clauses, and risk basics
• Comfortable engaging with clients and business stakeholders to explain legal provisions in a practical manner
• Experience working with or coordinating alongside external law firms
• Detail-oriented, execution-focused, and able to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
