Job Role: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Job Location: Saudi Arabia

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager based in Saudi Arabia. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will oversee housekeeping operations, including managing staff, supervising daily cleaning and laundry tasks, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a focus on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and customer service excellence. Candidates having exp. with Hospitals will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities:

  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and guide housekeeping staff to ensure they follow company standards and procedures. 
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and adherence to standards. 
  • Operations Management: Create and manage daily work schedules, adjust staffing as needed, and allocate tasks to team members. 
  • Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, ensuring timely restocking and cost management. 
  • Guest Relations: Address and resolve guest requests, complaints, and concerns related to housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Maintenance and Safety: Report maintenance issues and ensure they are addressed promptly. Enforce and comply with health, sanitation, and safety regulations. 
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as front office or maintenance, for special projects, deep cleaning, or maintenance work. 

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills to effectively manage and lead the housekeeping team
  • Proficiency in Laundry management and maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Excellent Customer Service skills to ensure guest satisfaction and handle inquiries effectively
  • Strong Communication skills to coordinate responsibilities and ensure successful team collaboration
  • Experience in Hiring and training housekeeping staff
  • Ability to handle operational challenges and maintain a well-organized housekeeping department
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards and adherence to them
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
