Fund accounting - NAV Expenses

Position Title: Fund Accounting - ExpenseLocation: BangaloreShift: US ShiftEmployment Type: Full-time & WFOKey Responsibilities: Candidate must have core fund accounting expertise. Expense Management:Oversee and track all fund-related expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and LPAs. Allocate expenses to appropriate categories and entities.

Must have a very good knowledge of accrual concepts. Should be very good with Journal entries. Should be familiar with Fund Expense like Custody , Admin , Audit , Tax

And GPs fees . Reconciliation: Reconcile fund expenses with the general ledger, Trial balance, and financial systems. Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly between accounting system and Fund Admin.

Internal Transfers and International Wire Transfers:Process and monitor internal fund transfers. Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries into accounting system across entities. Handle and review SWIFT MT 103 payment messages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international payment protocols.

Liaise with different teams to keep track of different payment and troubleshooting discrepancies. Experience & Skills: Professional Experience:1-3 years of experience in fund accounting, expense management, or financial operations. Prior experience in private equity, asset management, or financial services is highly preferred.

Familiarity with Interbank transfers, especially SWIFT MT 103 processes. Industry Knowledge:Solid understanding of private equity structures and expense categories. Familiarity with international payment protocols and wire transfer tracking.

Soft Skills:Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Proactive, self-motivated approach to managing complex tasks. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
