About the Role

As a Software Development Manager (DevOps), you will lead a team of backend engineers responsible for building and scaling a document management platform. Your focus will be on delivering secure, cloud-native systems that are resilient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise AI and data strategies. This role requires strong technical leadership, operational ownership, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams globally.

What Youll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in a high-performance, inclusive environment
• Own team delivery, development plans, and continuous improvement culture
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and global partners to define technical roadmap
• Deliver secure, scalable backend services aligned with enterprise priorities
• Drive operational excellence and support production systems
• Own architectural decisions, code quality standards, and system resiliency
• Manage multiple projects, identify risks, and ensure on-time delivery
• Promote agile, CI/CD, observability, and DevOps best practices

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred)
• 10-12 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership
• Proven success managing global engineering teams and delivering production systems
• Deep experience in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and backend design
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Java, Python, SQL, Splunk, Grafana
• Hands-on experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, monitoring, and operational tooling
• Strong communication and leadership skills across functions
• Background in document workflows, compliance, or enterprise platforms
• Exposure to AI/ML or intelligent document systems is a strong plus

DevOps, CICD, Containerization (Dockers/Kubernetes), Automation, Java/SpringBoot, Microservice architecture & design, Management experience, AI & automation
