Sr. Program Manag

Position DescriptionThe Program Manager (PM) in Delhi will report to the Director of State Programs and serveas the central team & primary point of contact for interventions in Haryana. This rolerequires strong leadership to ensure successful project implementation and stakeholdermanagement.

Roles and Responsibilities:Project Management:1. Act as the single point of contact for critical project decisions across states.2. Manage stakeholders, including senior officials, funders, partners, and state governments to achieve project outcomes.3.

Monitor project timelines, progress, risks, dependencies, and delegate responsibilities effectively.4. Develop strategic and short-term project plans, utilizing tools for monitoring progressand managing escalations. Cross-functional Support:1.

Lead collaboration across teams to ensure sufficient backend support and internalalignment within Haryana initiatives.2. Analyze data to identify trends across multiple state programs, contributing toorganizational learning.3. Document program activities, monitor data, develop case studies, and compileevidence of outcomes.4.

Review expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets and implement an effectiveMonitoring and Evaluation system in collaboration with the M&E team. Educational Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Qualifications:1. Bachelors degree in a relevant field; a Masters degree is preferred.2.

8-10 years of experience in program management, preferably with exposure to managing projects involving senior government functionaries. Skills:1. Proficient in data monitoring and analysis, with a strong ability to interpret and utilizedata to inform decision-making.2.

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and executestrategic and short-term project plans.3. Strong communication skills in both English and Hindi, including the ability toeffectively engage with stakeholders at various levels. Abilities:1.

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex organizationallandscapes.2. Capacity to work under pressure with tight timelines, adapt to changing projectrequirements, and ensure timely deliverables.3. Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices, particularlyin the context of education and non-profit sectors.
