A brief about us: Involve was founded by IIT Graduates Divanshu & Samyak, who left their placements to build their dream. Through Involve, we are re-imagining education by building agency in school students, targeting 1 million students in the next five years. We do that by leveraging a peer learning-teaching-based approach. The approach emanates from our belief in "Kids first" and our key design principles: Co-created with students, Led by the students & participation by choice.

So far, we have directly worked with 22000+ students across India, improving their learning outcomes (39% from the baseline to Endline, maths) and the sense of ownership & leadership with our programs. Our core program of Peer Teaching has students in their formative years of age of 12-16 teacher and mentor their juniors in public schools. We have also seen great improvement in the learning culture of the school, teenage behavior, etc.

We are backed by some prominent institutions like the Central Square Foundation, Nudge Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, Wells Fargo, and TFIx, to name a few.

Overview of the Role:

Involve has, over the past 5 years gone through its 0-1 stage and is now preparing to scale its vision and impact across the country towards the ultimate aim of ensuring all children in India have opportunities to experience their agency.

On this next phase of our journey, we are looking for individuals who have the zeal to work with our leadership team to realize this vision!

Were looking for someone who has mastered multi-tasking and thinking on their feet and is looking to get a ring-side view of how to grow an organization!

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the founder and leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for scaling the organizations impact.

  • Conduct secondary research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends in the non-profit sector.

• Program Development and Management:

  • Work with the leadership team and key team members on the development of new initiatives aligned with the organizations mission and strategic objectives.

  • Support the implementation and execution of programs, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable impact.

• Partnership Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, corporate partners, and other non-profit organizations.

  • Explore and establish partnerships that enhance the organizations reach and influence.

• Financial Management:

  • Work closely with the finance team to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure fiscal responsibility in line with scaling objectives.

  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships to support the organizations growth.

You should have:

• Basic exposure of working in a professional environment ( having your own start-up/working in a start-up in the past counts)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; relationship building will be a considered plus

• Having a functional knowledge of Microsoft suite or G-Suite is a must;

• Be based out of or willing to relocate to Bangalore/Chennai (and willing to travel extensively)

• Undergrad degree (unless you have a sound reason why you dropped out of college)

You will be a great fit, if:

• You are a hustler; We have a bias for people who take ownership & get things done

• You are a width person -someone who can process information coming out of various functions and be able to connect the dots. Quick context switching and a brain that can process in multiple dimensions are key.

• You are okay with unstructured work; Largely, the work will be about the domains mentioned above, but a significant chunk of it will be various other things.

• You are someone who is consistently pushing boundaries to perform your best. Founders office will a demanding role.

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Compensation: INR 6-8 LPA CTC (Negotiable based on experience & fit)
