Job Title: Gold Loan Officer

Location: Madurai & Coimbatore

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Gold Loan Officer to manage and expand our gold loan business. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 10 years of experience in gold loan sales, customer handling, and gold valuation. This role involves loan processing, customer relationship management, and achieving business targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in gold loan processing, verification, and disbursement.
  • Evaluate gold purity and weight to determine loan eligibility.
  • Handle documentation, KYC verification, and loan agreements.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on loan renewals, repayments, and collections.
  • Work towards achieving branch sales targets and business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase repeat business.
  • Stay updated with market trends, gold rates, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience: 2 to 10 years in gold loan operations, banking, or NBFC.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of gold purity testing and valuation.
  • Excellent customer handling and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to achieve sales and collection targets.
  • Language: Fluency in Tamil & English (Hindi is a plus).
  • Preferred: Candidates with experience in gold loan companies, banks, or NBFCs.
