Graphics Designer

Role Brief:

As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling content that supports campaign goals and enhances audience engagement. This role is crucial for maintaining a high standard of design across platforms. The role also requires mentoring and managing other junior graphic designers and extracting quality output.

Responsibilities:

· Design Creation: Develop graphics for social media, print materials, and campaign assets.

· Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the organizations branding

guidelines.

· Leadership: Guide and mentor fellow graphic designers, cartoonists and animators to achieve creative excellence.

· Collaborative Work: Partner with content writers, video editors, and campaign managers to deliver cohesive outputs.

· File Management: Organize and manage design files, ensuring they are easily accessible for future use and updates.

· Tool Proficiency: Use design software to create visuals, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

· Feedback Incorporation: Adapt designs based on stakeholder and audience feedback.

· Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and meeting deadlines.

· Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve design skills.

Preferred Qualification:

· Masters degree in visual arts, Design, or related fields.

· 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in political or social campaigns.

· Prior experience of working with a large team of creators and leading other graphic designers.

Minimum Qualification:

· 2+ years of experience in graphic design.

· Proficiency in Tamil and English for understanding local cultural contexts.
