Job Title: SDET Fullstack Automation Engineer

Location: MumbaiExperience: 3-5 Years

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled SDET Fullstack Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of proven experience in automation testing for both web and backend applications. You should be proficient in Typescript, JavaScript, and Cypress, with hands-on experience in API testing and automation frameworks. If you have experience with Java, Playwright, or RestAssured and a solid understanding of CI/CD processes, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated tests for web and backend applications using Cypress and Playwright.
  • Perform API testing using tools like RestAssured to validate functionality, security, and performance.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks for both frontend and backend.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the quality of new features and releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across different application layers.
  • Write basic SQL queries to validate data and ensure database integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation practices.
  • Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests with Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth delivery of features.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in automation testing for web and backend applications.
  • Expertise in Typescript and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with Cypress for frontend automation.
  • Solid experience with RestAssured for API testing.
  • Familiarity with Java and Playwright is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks (e.g., Protractor, Cypress).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with trading applications or core financial services is a big plus.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in working with financial services applications.
  • Experience with any other test automation frameworks or languages.
