Molex is seeking a dynamic System Engineering Supervisor to be part of our strong Engineering Team to develop new products that we are bringing to market.  You will be a part of our cross functional team and collaborate internationally with our design teams.

Connected Mobility Solutions (CMS), a business unit of Molex, develops innovative products and manufacturing processes around automotive in-vehicle networking, infotainment, and lighting segments. You may not see our name on the shelves, but our electronic solutions are inside the products you use every day. We work together with the worlds innovators to design and manufacture electronic solutions that solve complex technical challenges. From innovative products like high-speed USB and LVDS signaling to mini coax 25Gb+ Ethernet solutions, media modules, Wireless chargers, we design, develop and manufacture products that enable flawless data transfer, electric charging within the next generation of autonomous and connected vehicles.

What You Will Do

·       8 -12 years of experience in the development of electronic system / sub systems

·  Provide direction and leadership to the local Systems Engineering Team including people management.

·       Ensure the successful execution and valuable contributions of the team in the areas of

o   Requirements Engineering

o   Definition of System Architectures and System Requirements

o   Technical feature ownership during product development

·       Support personal development of the individual team members to expand and enhance their performance

·       Optimize resource planning and workload balance in your team

·       Deal with escalations and ensure swift and satisfactory resolution

·       Continually review internal processes and identify opportunities for improvement

·       Contribute to development projects by providing input to project plans and support in customer and supplier communication

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

·       Proven expert in systems engineering

·       Extensive professional experience in the specification and development of complex embedded electronic systems in the automotive environment, including high level hardware and software design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

·       Good knowledge of automotive development processes including V-Modell, ASPICE and agile methods

·       Strong leadership skills, willing to take on challenges with people management

·       People management experience and passion for people, their development and engagement

·       Professional, pro-active and "can-do" attitude with exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

·       Goal oriented, structured, diligent, and independent work ethic

·       Strong networking and confident communication skills

·       Ability to work in a high-pressure business to business environment

·       Ability to work in an international, multi-site organization

·       Initial exposure to functional safety engineering and cyber security activities in an automotive environment
