Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Residential Design Architect to join our dynamic team based in Gurugram. This role is focused exclusively on residential building design, specifications, and project management support for plot owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of residential layouts, elevations, and façade concepts.
• Evaluate the right (not necessarily the best) construction partners vis. Architectural Firms, Builders, Collaborators, Contractors, Material Suppliers etc as per laid down processes.
• Review, assess and guide the construction partner on sustainable design through in-depth study and review of their floor plans and technical drawings and add value through your knowledge, experience and insights.
• Actively collaborate with clients and construction agency(s) to finalise project requirements and specifications.
• Provide expert guidance on material choices, finishes, and construction methodology.
• Draft detailed scope of work documents and ensure the designs are compliant with local regulations.
• Monitor project progress through on-site visits and virtual tools, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.
• Support end-to-end project management for assigned clients.
• Build and continuously update the knowledge repository for the latest in the field of design and construction.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from top pedigree is a must.
• Attention to detail and a genuine passion for residential architecture.
• Proficiency with BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and other architectural design tools.
• Deep understanding of building codes, bye-laws, standards, and residential construction best practices.
• Confident in interacting with leading Architectural firms and very senior Architects, or the Sr Leadership of reputed builders.
• Min 2 years of demonstrated experience in residential design and construction.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.
• Client-focused, with a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with digital project management platforms.
• Knowledge in Green Building Design.
