Head - Diplomatic Missions business

Job role:Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in embassies, consulates, and high commissions. Manage a team of Relationship Managers and Service Officials to ensure excellent relationship management and service to Diplomats and Embassies. Represent the organization at embassy events, diplomatic meetings, and networking sessions.

Strategic Engagement & Advocacy:Identify and leverage opportunities for partnerships, trade, and business through embassy channels. Work closely with internal teams to align business strategies with diplomatic engagement initiatives. Advocate for policy and regulatory support from diplomatic entities where necessary.

Business Development & Market Intelligence:Explore new business opportunities by engaging with embassy trade sections and commercial attachés. Provide insights on geopolitical trends, international trade policies, and economic developments that impact the organization. Facilitate connections between business leaders and diplomatic representatives for mutual growth.

Regulatory & Compliance Support:Monitor changes in diplomatic and regulatory policies that could impact business operations. Support visa facilitation, permissions, and clearances in collaboration with embassies

Ensure all engagements adhere to international diplomatic protocols and local regulations

To acquire accounts of new Embassies in Delhi and Consulates in other cities and add incremental CASA to the existing portfolio

Ensure high Trade and Fx income as per assigned targets

Develop & maintain embassies relationships. Act as a major point of contact for clients in foreign embassies in IndiaIdentify new business opportunities & potential clients. Provide excellent customer Service & ensure client satisfaction

Visit embassy regularly in the assigned territories, organize & attend client meetings, Product presentations

Maintain accurate records of client interactions & drive respective sales performance.Work closely with the Branch Banking for ensuring efficient service to clients

Job Requirements:Masters degree in International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/Post graduate preferred10-15 years of experience in diplomatic relations or relationship management, preferably in banking, trade, or consulting sectors

Strong networking, leadership and interpersonal skills

Deep understanding of diplomatic protocols and international relations

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

Needs to have very strong Banking knowledge and should be well versed with the products, processes and systems of the bank

Accuracy and analytical ability on MIS, Eye for details, Meticulous
