We are looking to hire an experienced Shopify App Developer to help us build a custom app for our Shopify store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a robust, scalable app that integrates seamlessly with Shopifys platform. You will collaborate with our team to design and implement the apps functionality, ensuring it meets both the stores business requirements and best practices for performance, security, and usability. Key Responsibilities: Develop custom Shopify apps tailored to our business needs. Integrate third-party APIs and Shopifys core features. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or issues with the app. Collaborate with the design team to ensure the apps UI/UX aligns with our brand. Maintain and update apps as required. Ensure the app adheres to Shopifys security guidelines and best practices. Optimize app performance to ensure fast load times and smooth operations. Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify development trends, tools, and best practices. Required Skills: Shopify Development Experience : Strong knowledge of Shopifys API, Liquid (Shopifys templating language), and the Shopify ecosystem. Programming Languages : Proficiency in languages like Ruby on Rails , Node.js , or PHP . Frontend Development : Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (particularly ReactJS for app interfaces) to build user interfaces. Backend Development : Solid understanding of server-side development, handling databases, and ensuring app scalability. API Integrations : Experience integrating third-party APIs with Shopify and building custom API endpoints. Version Control Systems : Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools. App Deployment : Experience deploying Shopify apps on Shopifys platform and understanding the app approval process. Problem Solving : Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly address bugs and issues. Shopify Plus : Experience with Shopify Plus (for larger stores) can be an added advantage. App Store Guidelines : Knowledge of Shopifys App Store submission and approval process. Preferred Skills: Shopify App SDK : Familiarity with Shopifys App Bridge and Polaris design system. Cloud Services : Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Heroku for app hosting. App Performance Optimization : Ability to optimize app load time and response time. UI/UX Design : Basic design skills or an eye for clean, user-friendly interfaces. Mobile Optimization : Experience ensuring apps are fully responsive and mobile-friendly. Testing : Experience with testing frameworks (unit tests, integration tests, etc.).
