About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate – DevOps Engineer to join our Salesforce DevOps Center of Excellence (CoE). The candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, automated, and reliable delivery processes across projects. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance DevOps maturity, automation, streamline deployments, and ensure compliance with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Copado, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage version control systems including Git and GitHub, ensuring proper branching, merging, and release strategies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Shell, or Bash for build, deployment, and monitoring tasks.
• Author and manage YAML configurations for pipeline orchestration and environment automation.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth build and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the DevOps process maturity.
• Implement and maintain DevOps best practices, including environment management, code quality checks, and security scans.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support Salesforce release management, environment setup, and configuration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

4–7 years of experience in DevOps or CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Proficiency in Git and GitHub, with a solid understanding of version control concepts.

Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Copado, or Azure DevOps.

Experience writing and managing YAML-based configurations.

Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell, or Bash.

Strong understanding of build automation, release management, and deployment strategies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills in an Agile environment.
