Your responsibilities:

Operations & Monitoring:

• Oversee and operate trading, clearing, and risk systems on Linux platforms.
• Monitor and supervise daily start-of-day batch processing tasks.
• Setup and improve monitoring and alerting.

Software Installations:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation, configuration, and updating software components to ensure seamless operations and system integrity.

Backup & Data Management:

• Manage backups for databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and tape storage systems.

Incident & Problem Management:

• Engage in incident management and troubleshoot production issues for prompt resolution.

Automation & Scripting:

• Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for task automation and monitoring.
• Design, build, maintain and extend existing and new Operational tools.

Team Collaboration:

• 2nd-level support for external and internal customers (in accordance with the particular shift schedule).
• Participation in shift rotation as well as taking over on-call duties and occasional weekend work.

Your profile:

Education & Technical Skills:

• Degree or training in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Linux environments and skilled in Bash, Python scripting and SQL.
• Experience in application support and operations.
• Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers like GCP, Azure or AWS.
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift Platform would be an asset.

Analytical & Organizational Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve production incidents.

Communication & Personal Attributes:

• Excellent written and spoken English (German is a plus).
• Resilient under pressure, self-motivated, and eager to learn within a collaborative team atmosphere.

Working Arrangement:

• 100% in-office presence is expected during the comprehensive training period, and subsequently, a minimum of 3 days per week in the office is required to ensure seamless collaboration and operational efficiency.
