Job Description:

As a Network Engineer, the position will monitor and support day to day network changes in Asia region on various networking hardware like Cisco, Checkpoint, Aruba and applications deployed at different sites and work closely with Global network team as part of the IT Shared services. This position demands that the candidate has understanding of enterprise environment and proficient with networking technology and concepts using Cisco Switches, Routers and Firewalls. Must have working knowledge on at least one of the technologies out of Cisco VoIP, switching, routing

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline with 1-2 years of experience
CCNA / CCNP certification or equivalent experience
Experience/understanding of Enterprise working environment strongly preferred
Expert knowledge of networking technology and concepts

Demonstrated experience with Cisco Switches, Routers and Firewalls
Understanding of Router configuration, to include IP addressing, routing and Access Control Lists
Experience with the configuration of network switches including VLANs and VLAN Trunking.
Experience with network monitoring tools
Understanding of different interoffice routing technologies essential.

Experience coordinating with ISPs troubleshooting network circuits.
