• Remote Roles and Responsibilities:
• Monitor and administer AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
• Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, utilizing backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.
• Oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
• Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.

Utilize monitoring platforms like Datadog, Orion, Nagios, and Whats Up Gold.

• Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.
• Administer company Saa S platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior support tiers and act as an escalation resource for all technologies under the Platform Engineering umbrella.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Professional certification is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including Iaa S, Paa S, and Saa S.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, Cloud Formation, and Cloud Watch.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
• Proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
